Handbill Announcing Harold “Lefty” Liberty’s New Shop in Salem, New Hampshire

Liberty Tattoo Studio South Broadway – route 28 Salem, New Hampshire At Junction of Rockingham Park Boulevard Early in April 1962 the Scollay Tattoo Shop was forced to close to make way for the Government Center. The law against Tattooing in Massachusetts went into effect shortly after the closing so it was not possible to relocate in Massachusetts. Since that time I have been endeavoring to relocate in New Hampshire. After checking many locations, I have finally found a location suitable for my business. This place is only about one-half hour drive from Boston via route 93 or 28. My place is at the traffic light at the junction of Route 28 and Rockingham Park Boulevard off 93. It is a white house on the right side going North across from Rockingham Park in Salem, New Hampshire. When you receive this notice I will be prepared to receive customers old and new. The Massachusetts law does not prevent you from coming to New Hampshire for a Tattoo, if you so desire. If you are no longer interested in having one maybe a friend would be happy to receive this. My business card is enclosed. My hours will be five days a week from 2:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.m., and Saturdays from 12:00 noon to 10:30 P.M. I will not be open on Sundays. Harry (Lefty) Liberty
