Alice and John in garden

Alice Train Brown and John Freeman Brown, Jr., the children of the photographer Alice Augusta Rogerson Brown, play in the garden of the John Crehore House on Brush Hill Road in Milton, Massachusetts. The Brown family lived in the house, which was built in 1724.
