Emerson’s Model (Back)

Model of the house designed by W. Ralph Emerson photographed over a natural background by A.H. Folsom c. 1878. Note the inclusion of a sundial on the backside of the house, a feature used in other Emerson designs that ultimately was not included in the finished house.
